Teaching Philosophy

 

 

 

 

My teaching philosophy is one that is based on mutual trust and respect.  I want my students to trust that I will properly prepare them  to be successful in this course as well as their other courses.  I will treat each person as an individual, cordially, respectfully and with dignity.  All that I ask in return is for them to treat me the same way. 

 

My classroom will be a place where all students will be welcomed and can feel safe irregardless of their personal preferences or choices they make that define them as an individual.   My classroom will have an atmosphere that promotes thinking and learning and is a fun, safe place for students to be.
