The goals for this class will allow you, the student, to develop your understanding of world history. Within this, there will be an emphasis on developing your ability to connect events of the past to events that occur at a later date. Throughout this school year, students will prepare for a final comprehensive assessment (New York State Regents), which will contain not only materials covered in this class but in Global 9 as well. Plainly stated, I want you to approach Global 10 with a curiosity that will allow you to better understand the events and policies of the past and how they affect you in the modern world today.
